The world claims many truths,

but only one can set us free

Jesus is Lord.

"For this I was born, and for this I came into the world" John 18:37

Christmas is a time of giving. It is the season of cheer and goodwill, a time of reflecting on previous years. Christmas should be a time of remembering the Christ Child who was born as our Redeemer and Savior some 2000 years ago.

If we removed the gifts we give and receive, the abundance of good cheer, Santa and his reindeer, and even the Christmas tree, the most important and essential ingredient would still remain and be more than enough reason to celebrate this year. The Baby in the manger grew up, healed the broken, taught those who hungered for God, lived a sinless life, and in His death on a cross, took the penalty for our rebellion against God. He is our King who intervened on our behalf before we even realized we needed Him. We were His whole reason for coming to that manger in Bethlehem.

As we embrace this season of the year, may you have and experience the true meaning of the gift that has been provided and has never lost its powerful impact over all the years. If you have never unwrapped this precious gift of freedom, He's waiting for you to do so. Receive it, unwrap it, and live in its power.

Merry Christmas to you all and we wish you a Happy New Year!
