February 2006 Newsletter
KNOWING GOD
What an adventure, what an opportunity to have the freedom to love and serve
God. I want to take this time to thank all of you who have supported the Sweet
Aroma ministry. Your prayers and contact with us mean so much. It is amazing
how much joy can come when you are doing what you really feel God has called
you to do.
January was such a wonderful way to begin the new year. Our first gathering was
at The Neutral Ground Cafe' in Waverly NY, with many new faces and new friends,
then off to Sozo's Cafe' in Johnson City NY...wow!! If this is a taste of what
2006 has in store for us...watch out!!! God is unstoppable.
In 2 Corinthians 6:8-10 Paul is talking about knowing God. What a difference
knowing Jesus can make! He cares for us in spite of what the world thinks. We
don't have to give in to public opinion and pressure. Don't let circumstances
or peoples expectations control you. Be firm as you stand true to God and refuse
to compromise on his standards of living.
Know the Lord and sharing his love with others is what brings such joy to my
heart. Knowing too, that he loves me unconditionally, but loves me too much to
leave me unto my own ways of thinking and acting. At times he has to correct
me as he leads and guides me. That only shows me how much he really does love
and care about me. He will not leave me unto my own destruction. His mercy has
proven to be everlasting with me, for that I am eternally grateful.
No matter what you face this month be confident that God loves you and he is
there to provide for all your needs, emotional, physical and spiritual. He will
never leave or forsake you. He will never let you go.
